Calvin Klein, Vivienne Westward, Paul and Joe...the list of designers channeling the military trend for autumn/winter is endless. They have all jumped on the bandwagon with coats, trousers, shirts and skirts in varying shades of khaki.

However, military is also one of the easiest off duty looks to incorporate into your wardrobe too, giving it an instant 'dress down' update. My favourite is the heavy weight khaki shirt/jacket. It is the perfect cover-up for this changeable weather. Throw on over your favourite tee and skinny jeans with bikers for wet weather or over your summer dress with gladiators for when the sun makes an appearance.
